Teelixir Mushroom Turmeric Latte 100g

Mix this powder into water or milk for a satisfying hot or iced latte without the caffeine and with a whole host of health benefits. It’s based on turmeric, an Ayurvedic medicinal spice composed of over five percent curcumin, an antioxidant with powerful anti-inflammatory properties. To increase the effective dose of curcumin in this drink, Teelixir have blended in some black pepper, which contains a natural compound called bioperine that is known to enhance the bioavailability of curcumin by enabling the body to absorb more of it.

Each serve also contains 750mg of dual-extracted cordyceps mushroom powder equivalent to 7.5 grams of raw mushrooms. The cordyceps mushroom has been used therapeutically throughout Asia. Cordyceps is primarily used to build physical strength, enhance athletic performance and stamina, and to treat sexual disorders such as impotence and frigidity. It also gives the immune system and mood a boost and is thought to enhance longevity.

The nutritious turmeric & mushroom combo is complemented by ginger and Ceylon cinnamon which add delicious flavour and their own antioxidants and anti-inflammatories to the drink. It’s plenty tasty and nourishing by itself, but feel free to add some sweetener, ghee or coconut oil for a little upgrade – and also try mixing the powder into your baked goods to give them a little upgrade!
